An easy, mess-free way to enjoy crispy perfection every time!


🥓 Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients & Tools

You only need:

  • Thick or regular-cut bacon

  • A baking sheet

  • Parchment paper or foil

Optional:

  • A wire rack (for extra crispiness)

Tip: Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and better bacon browning.


🔥 Step 2: Preheat the Oven

Set your oven to 400°F (204°C).
This is the magic temperature for evenly crisp bacon.

Why not use a pan? Baking bacon reduces mess, cooks evenly, and doesn't need flipping.


🧑🍳 Step 3: Line the Tray and Lay Out the Bacon

Place parchment paper or foil on the baking sheet.
Lay bacon strips side by side—not overlapping!

Optional: Place a wire rack on the sheet, then bacon on the rack for less greasy strips.


⏱️ Step 4: Bake!

Place the tray on the middle oven rack.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, depending on:

  • Bacon thickness

  • Your preferred crispiness

Watch closely in the last 5 minutes!


🧤 Step 5: Remove & Drain

Use oven mitts to take out the tray.
Use tongs to move bacon onto a paper towel–lined plate.

Let it rest for 2 minutes. It'll crisp up more as it cools!
